What data we collect
This site is primarily static and does not require registration or login. We collect the following categories of data:
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, and telephone number submitted through the contact form. This data is used solely to respond to the inquiry and is not used for marketing purposes.
- Server logs: standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, referring URL, and page visited. These are retained for up to 30 days for security and technical troubleshooting purposes.
- Analytics data: if you accept cookies, anonymised usage statistics may be collected to understand how pages are accessed. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics data.
Cookies
This site uses a single first-party cookie to store your cookie consent preference (key: wb_cookie_consent). This is a functional cookie required to remember whether you have accepted or rejected analytics cookies. It is stored in your browser's local storage and does not transmit data to external servers.
If you reject cookies via the consent banner, no analytics cookies are set. The consent preference cookie itself is set regardless of your choice, as it is necessary for the banner not to reappear on every visit.
Legal basis for processing
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which applies in Poland as an EU member state, we process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contact form data: legitimate interest (responding to an inquiry) and, where applicable, consent.
- Analytics data: consent (as indicated by your cookie preference).
- Server logs: legitimate interest (security and technical operation of the site).
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months from receipt and then deleted. Server logs are retained for 30 days. Analytics data is retained in anonymised aggregate form.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you. You may also object to processing or request that processing be restricted. To exercise these rights, contact editorial@wilsonbrook.eu. We will respond within 30 days.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych — UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, at uodo.gov.pl.
